Through the spring, when the fires burned.
Not a thing has since returned.
And the ghosts - they roam.
They don’t go – they wander the halls.

And summer comes and we can move
But the sun sets the ground alight.

Then fall comes and skin is thick.
Outside the walls, dead feeds the live.
From struggle forms the stronger arm -
